Don't even bother trying to sell IPODS or PS3's as you'd need to buy a container load just to break even. This is a mistake so many people new to eBay make and ends up costing them a pretty penny. There a literally thousands of products to choose from if you delve deeper into each category on eBay pulse.

The eBay Reverse Reconnaissance Method (TERRM)

This sound like you're going to war doesn't it. Well I've got news for you. You are? Selling the odd item on eBay is easy. making it a business is another. You need some sneaky, secret behind the door strategies to be successful and this is something 95% of the eBay sellers just don't see.

TERRM is the method of copying what successful eBay sellers are doing and selling and then improving on it:

They may have a best selling item - but don't show any colorful pictures
They may have a short description of the item - but don't show the true feature and benefits.
They may have all of the above - but don't have a short video presentation (shopping channel style)

When using TERRM you're going to do all of these things and more. Congratulations, you now know something 95% of new and veteran eBay sellers don't. The idea is not to reinvent the wheel or try to create new markets. You'll get on the road to success a lot quicker if you sell with a proven product and use a few sneaky tactics to blast the competition out of the water with ease.
